Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL) is a subsidiary of IOCL with world class refining technologies and a dominant presence in South India. It is one of the most complex refineries with Fuel, Lube, Wax and Petrochemical feedstocks production facilities. Over the past five decades, the company has gone through an eventful, growth-oriented phase to reach the present stature of 10.5 MMTPA crude processing capacity. CPCL has also made pioneering efforts in various field as detailed below: Renewable Energy and Water Conservation: Setting up a Wind Farm and Sewage Reclamation plant, where 5 MGD of sewage water from Chennai city is processed to meet the raw water requirements of the refinery.
