CELEBRATING 70 years! Chiavettas Catering has been one of the leading names in BBQ Catering in the Western New York area. Our company was started by Thomas and Eleanor Chiavetta, poultry farmers who learned about BBQ chicken through the Erie County Farm and Home Center in East Aurora. The Chiavetta family started their BBQ by offering catering at weddings and banquets, in addition to operating the Chiavettas Churchside Farms. By 1957, the business began catering large events like local church and fire department fundraisers, and soon enough, Chiavettas was doing so well they could afford to buy a brand-new truck. By 1980, the people of Buffalo, NY had become so hooked on the taste of Chiavettas BBQ sauce that the family decided to begin bottling and selling it as its own featured product.
