About Us

Childrens Harbor was established in 1996. We are a nationally accredited child welfare organization located in Pembroke Pines, FL that is dedicated to three very specific priorities: 1) Keeping siblings together while they are in foster care. 2) Strengthening families who are in crisis within our community. 3) Guiding teens who are aging out of the foster care. We keep kids safe while their families are given the opportunity to heal and if that is no longer a possibility and they are not able to return home safely, we become their family. We come alongside them, resource and support them until they can reach a point of self-sufficiency We provide residential services in a family-style setting for foster children and community-based services for the prevention and intervention of abuse and neglect.
