We strive to: -Emphasize and build on the existing strengths of children and families, in order to enhance their knowledge, skills and participation in community life; -Assist children to participate in their communities by identifying and removing environmental and personal barriers, increasing supports in their environment, and enhance their competencies at the personal level; -Focus on social inclusion and participation, which may assist in changing attitudes towards disabilities
