China Lion Film Distribution Inc. is invested and founded by President Jiang Yanming. Since its establishment in October 2010, China Lion has been devoted to distributing excellent Chinese films in North America. On October 31st, 2011, Chinese leading motion picture powerhouses Huayi Brothers Media Corporation and Bona Film Group Ltd. announced acquisition of strategic stakes in the one-year-old start-up China Lion Film Distribution Inc., integrating U.S. and Canadian distribution to their vast public portfolios. China Lion, headquartered in Los Angeles with international offices in Toronto, Sydney, Beijing, Auckland, etc became the first distributor to release major Chinese theatrical features day-and-date with China.
