Chip Theory Games is an independent board game design and publishing firm based out of Plymouth, Minnesota. It is managed by founders Josh and Adam Carlson. Best known for their game Too Many Bones, Chip Theory has used Kickstarter to fund all of their published titles, each with a significant increase in success: - Hoplomachus: The Lost Cities - Hoplomachus: Rise of Rome - Hoplomachus: Origins - Too Many Bones - Triplock -Game to Pick a Game - Too Many Bones: Undertow - Cloudspire The Hoplomachus line of games was famously named Ricky Royals (Box of Delights) favorite solo gaming series. Using that success as a springboard, the company launched their Kickstarter for Too Many Bones in March of 2016, where it raised over a quarter of a million dollars.
