Chrysalis Cumbria

Chrysalis is an established provider of support to adults with learning disabilities based in Cumbria. Our mission is to provide dynamic opportunities to enrich the lives of adults with learning disabilities in a friendly and supportive environment. This is achieved from a basis of mutual respect, understanding of each persons needs and a commitment to encourage individuals to reach their full potential. Established as a charity in 1996. Chrysalis currently supports over 80 individuals to access a wide range of both leisure and educational activities through one to one support, group activities and holidays. We also offer an outreach provision which enables the individuals we support to access community facilities throughout the day as well as on an evening or weekend. Chrysalis Wholefoods Shop, a social enterprise located in Wigton town centre, provides a platform for the individuals we support to gain recognised qualifications as well as gaining valuable work experience
