North Plains, Oregon is a small, semi-rural city of just over 3,400 residents located 17 miles west of Downtown Portland. Formerly known as Glencoe, the community has existed for over 100 years. Our growth over the years has maintained a small-town atmosphere where residents enjoy the benefits of the well-managed infrastructure of improved streets, parks, and water systems, as well as easy access to major employers, recreation, entertainment, and nature. Located in the heart of Oregons Silicon Forest, North Plains is part of a thriving tech scene and is within a short drive to the Portland metro areas larger cities.
