City of Perryville

Perryville is a thriving City located on Interstate 55. It is about 30 minutes North of Cape Girardeau and 80 minutes South of St. Louis. The population is about 8,400 people and our operating budget $22 million. Perryville has an incredible quality of life for its Citizens which is rooted in its diverse park and recreational system. Perryville traditionally boasts one of the lowest unemployment rates in the State of Missouri, having a strong employment base with TG Missouri, Gilster-Mary Lee, Robinson Construction, West Star Aviation, Bank of Missouri and a host of others. Perryville is home to three school systems (Immanuel Lutheran, St. Vincent Catholic Schools and Perry County District #32) and has robust higher education offerings featuring Mineral Area College, Central Methodist University and Ranken Technical College campus
