The CitySprouts mission is to cultivate curiosity and wonder for all children with hands-on science learning through urban gardens. Our innovative partnerships with 24 public schools in Boston and Cambridge give thousands of children ongoing opportunities to learn from nature during their elementary education. Our tuition-free summer and after school program for 10-14 year olds creates a community for young people to learn about their natural environment, engage in science and engineering through ecosystems and food systems, and explore their emerging identity as young adults
