Civil Service Climate + Environment Network

The Civil Service Environment Network (CSEN) brings together over 6,500 civil servants from 120+ UK government departments and agencies. The network was established in October 2019 to offer civil servants with an interest in the environment a chance to learn more and network with like-minded colleagues, regardless of grade, experience, or expertise. Our offer includes: Talks: we host monthly speaker-led events and have welcomed Nick Bridge (FCO Special Representative for Climate Change); Professor Dieter Helm (Chair of the Natural Capital Committee); Professor Tahseen Jafry (Director of the Centre for Climate Justice), to name a few. Discussion groups: we host monthly facilitated discussions based around topical podcasts, and accessible news and academic articles.
