The original firm of Crisp, Kavanagh and Partners, Chartered Quantity Surveyors was set up in Malaysia in 1961 by Denis J. Crisp, who had earlier commenced practice in England, Australia and Singapore, which is to this day, an associated firm. In 1976, Ahmad Nizaruddin bin Mohd Hashim entered into the partnership and the firm was renamed CKP Dan Nizaruddin Jurukur Bahan. In March 1983, the firm became a Sendirian under the present name.
