From humble beginnings as a local brickworks in the 1800s, Claypave has transformed into a market leader and supplier of quality clay products to both domestic and international markets. Located just outside Brisbane in Dinmore, Ipswich, Claypave is a Queensland family-owned company that prides itself on personal service and exceptional products. Originally named Rylance Collieries and Brickworks, the company began operation in the 1880s, with Claypaves current refractories plant being built at Dinmore near Ipswich in the 1930s. The businesss current owners took over manufacturing operations in 1985, and with that came some changes. Noticing a gap in options for consumers, the newly-named Claypave decided to focus primarily on manufacturing quality clay pavers, which proved so successful that they became the proud custodians of Australias very first dedicated state-of-the-art paving factory in 1988.
