This 108 MW HFO Fired Power Plant is situated at Washpur, Keranigonj; which is the nearest power plant from capital Dhaka. The EPC of this plant was done under master class concepts by reputed companies. The PPA was signed with BPDB and IA along with Ministry of Power on December 05, 2011 under Build, Own, Operate (BOO). This plant is connected to the national grid since 2015. Amin-bazar Substation is the medium of transmission to national grid for this plant.
