Clearline Appliances Limited started its operation in the year 1988. The company was the first to introduce the soda making machine under the brand name Merri Mix with highly superior and sophisticated technology and know-how from Great Britain. The machine was further upgraded using technology from Sweden under the name The Drink Maker. The Drink Maker became the flagship product of the company due to its immense popularity, highest standard of quality became generic with the name of the company. The success story of Clearline, because of innovation, quality and technological superiority of the products manufactured by the company was recognized by the Ministry of Industries, Govt. of India by conferring the award of Entrepreneur of the Year to Mr. Sanjay Mehtani, Director of the company in the year 1995 by the then Hon.
