Climate Research Foundation

Fundacion para la Investigacion del Clima, (FIC, www.ficlima.org), is an independent non-profit organization founded in Spain in 1996. Its purpose is to improve adaptation to climate change through research and capacity building. FICs activities have been focused on future climate simulation (statistical downscaling); the assessment of future climate influence on several sectors (agriculture/food security, biodiversity, hidrology...) in collaboration with experts from each sector; the communication of research results; and capoacity building.
