Clinica Esperanza started at the kitchen table of Peggy Stranges, RN. Over the years, it expanded, first, to the apartment beneath her home, then to 4 rooms at the Son Rise Calvary Hotel, and finally into a dedicated first class 4000 sq ft medical facility. Clinica Esperanza provides low-cost/no cost medical care to the people of Roatan. The clinic currently has adult, diabetic, womens health/OB, pediatrics, dental, pharmacy and lab services. It sees an average of 100 patients a day. Medical volunteers work alongside the clinic staff to provide quality care to the community of Roatan and The Bay Islands...
