Cockburn Basketball Association

Founded in 1972, Cockburn Basketball Association is the home of basketball in the City of Cockburn. We have run high quality junior and senior competitions for over 40 years. Our representative club, the Cockburn Cougars, are one of the original foundation clubs of the SBL (Western Australian State Basketball League) and the junior state league WABL (Western Australian Basketball League). All competitions and SBL and WABL home games are held at Wally Hagan Stadium. Close to Fremantle, Wally Hagan Stadium is a four court basketball stadium with some of the highest quality hardwood floors in the country. Excellent bar facilities face the main show court, with plenty of space for functions and a tiered grandstand for patrons. The association caters for all ages and a wide range in skill level, from beginners to elite.
