Founded by former prison officer and army veteran Nigel Seaman, Combat2Coffee is a community interest start-up founded in 2018 which aims to: - Create safe community and charity-led spaces within its coffee shops where veterans, families and those struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues can go to feel supported and connected. - Educate communities and families on de-escalation strategies and techniques when engaging with individuals with disabilities and trauma-related mental health conditions. - Reform ex-offender reintegration and improve positive outcomes via its Coffee Roasting and Barista Prisoner Rehabilitation Training Programme. - Improve sustainability and quality of coffee across the U.K. via its direct trade branded Brazilian coffee and economies of scale achieved by wholesale trade.
