NGO founded in 1968 by a group of doctors from Turin with the aim of promoting and ensuring the right to health for all, particularly for the most vulnerable part of population in low-income countries. CCM works in Burundi, Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, South Sudan and Uganda where, in collaboration with the local authorities, is committed to promoting access to basic health care. Through international cooperation projects it reinforces the existing health facilities and upgrades the network of health services, especially in villages far from the hospitals.
