Commodity Trading is an exciting way of trading, available to all that are disciplined enough to know how and when to enter a trade, and when to exit. Also the discipline to get the proper training and knowledge, before jumping in. Raw products like oil and metals are just a few that can be traded. Commodities are traded in the following manners: Spot trading - With spot trading the commodity is usually inspected and delivery takes place either immediately or with very little time delay between the trade and delivery. Forward contracts - With forward contracts two parties agree to a future date for exchange to take place on a given quantity for a price defined today. Future contracts - A future contract is similar to a forward contract although the transaction takes place through an exchange.
