Communities In Schools of Virginia is part of the nations largest and most effective organization dedicated to keeping kids in school and empowering them to succeed in life. In Virginia, we operate as a network of six independent affiliates serving more than 113,000 students in 26 school districts and 163 schools. Surrounding Virginias students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. Our affiliates forge partnerships with schools to serve as a hub of support for students and families, connecting them with the resources they need to learn and grow. By surrounding students with a network of support, we are helping kids overcome barriers and ignite their own personal potential.
