Mission Statement: The C.E.C. Mission is to promote public civil justice and improvements to the community that will lend itself to the future growth and development of the community and its people. Founded in April 2004, Community Economic Council has grown from the realization of a need to right a wrong, to movement of financial crime fighters. Today, C.E.C. promotes the education and awareness of business, law enforcement and governmental agencies in the best methods of preventing negligent financial fraud, by supporting innovative grassroots outreach programs that serve our citizens and communities. At present, the Community Economic Council is a coalition of credit, financial and legal professionals who are seeking to provide legal and financial redress to individuals who are victims of financial and credit related fraud, i.e., a persons identity has been stolen, they were sold a fraudulent investment or they were targeted for a predatory mortgage financing.
