Community First National Bank was newly chartered on February 1, 2001 in response to the ownership change of several locally owned banks in the Manhattan market. We spent a great deal of time and put much thought into choosing our Community First name because it represents what we are all about; Community in the sense that we are locally owned and managed; Community in the sense that our owners and employees donate our time here, spend our money here, and keep our profits here; and Community in the sense of an old fashioned hometown bank where the bankers know you and you know the bankers on a personal basis.
