OUR STORY Community Home Trust delivers housing affordability to diverse populations in partnership with our communities. Community Home Trust sold its first home in June 2000. Today, there are more than 334 permanently affordable homes in Chapel Hill and Carrboro. Our homeowners include nurses, university employees, teachers and others, who serve our community but otherwise could not afford to own a home here. OUR SERVICES Sales: As a nonprofit, licensed real estate firm, we have brokers on staff that provide expertise in buying and selling the affordable homes in our inventory. We provide marketing services as well as step-by-step support to get you from the contract signing to the closing table. We do not charge commission for this service. Property Management: We have staff dedicated to helping our homeowners choose a vendor to deal with repairs needed on their homes or answer questions they may have.
