Community Media Center

The Community Media Center is a 501-c3 nonprofit public, education, & government (PEG) media organization that provides a shared broadcast-production facility serving Carroll County Maryland. The Community Media Center operates two local cable access channels: Channel 19-the Public Access Channel, and Channel 23- the Municipal Channel. This state of the art facility is a result of local governments dedicating 2% of their franchise fees to support public access to local, government and educational content. Individuals and organizations can also use facility resources to produce and distribute their own content to the broader community. The facility and the non-profit organization represent a partnership of PEG channels, the Carroll County Career and Technology Center and local non-profit organizations serving local needs.
