Community Offshore Wind is an offshore wind joint venture of RWE and National Grid, committed to Local Clean Energy for AllTM. With this partnership, National Grid and RWE have jointly acquired an offshore seabed lease with the goal of developing, constructing and operating U.S. offshore wind projects. The awarded seabed has the potential to host 3 gigawatts (GW) of capacity, enough to power 1.1 million homes.
