The Community Safety Building Authority (CSBA) designs, procures, builds and upgrades infrastructure to keep the Victorian community safe. As part of the Department of Justice and Community Safety, we manage a $3 billion portfolio of projects including new, expanded and upgraded: prisons and youth justice centres court and custody facilities emergency services facilities public safety infrastructure. As well as keeping the community safe, CSBAs projects create local jobs and provide opportunities for apprentices, trainees, cadets, Aboriginal people, disadvantaged Victorians and people with disability.
