Welcome to Community Underwriting - an underwriting agency owned by Not for Profits, established to make a real difference to the way insurance is provided in our sector. We operate under a unique business model in the Australian insurance market. Seventy percent of our surplus each year is returned to our shareholders as donations. A further five percent annually is set aside to fund a small grants program for those not for profit insurance clients not large enough to become shareholders.
