Founded in 1994, Compuscan is a leading credit bureau and emerging markets information services company, providing data and analytical tools to clients around the world. In 2011, Compuscan and Scoresharp joined forces which allowed the combined entity to bring data expertise, decision analytics and software to Compuscan clients. In 2019, both companies were acquired by the worlds leading global information services company, Experian. The combined companies employ over 750 people across South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Lesotho, Uganda, Ethiopia, and Mozambique. Compuscan and Scoresharp bring clients consumer and commercial credit bureau information, innovations in software, technology, analytics, data management, fraud and risk management, loyalty and rewards, marketing services, and training, at speed and at scale. The Compuscan consumer credit report platform, My Credit Check, gives South African consumers unlimited access to their full free credit report.
