Con Mi MADRE is 501 (c)3 non profit based in Austin, TX whose mission is to empower young Latinas and their mothers through educational and support services that increase preparedness, participation, and success in post-secondary education. Girls and their mother enroll together during the students 6th grade year and continue through the program until the student graduates with a post-secondary degree. Participants receive support through mother-daughter conferences, college visits, campus meetings, community service activities, counseling, and mentoring throughout the year.
