Concern for the Girl Child

Concern for the Girl Child is a Child focused Non-Government Organization that was founded in 2001 by Dr. Ann F. Hayes and Freddie Henry Kasozi (R.I.P). The organization was founded with the main aim of empowering the vulnerable girl child through the provision of access to Education, health information and child protection by lobbying and advocating for the rights of children at all levels. Together with the community, schools and families, CGC has soldiered on in this work and so far, 1000 girls and their families in the communities of Luwero, Nakaseke and Kampala, specifically in Nakawa Division have been impacted.
