CAPA is the regional organisation representing 30 professional accountancy organisations (PAOs) that operate in or have an interest in the Asia-Pacific region. These PAOs, referred to as CAPA members, represent close to 2 million professional accountants, over two-thirds of the worlds accountants that are members of PAOs. Collaborating with other stakeholders, CAPA has played an important and unique role in developing, coordinating and advancing the accountancy profession in the region since its founding in 1957.
