Connect Health + Wellness

Initially funded through a 5 year, $4.5 million grant from the Harvest Foundation, the Martinsville-Henry County Coalition for Health and Wellness (Connect Health + Wellness) began operations in April 2005. We are committed to providing medical and primary health services at Bassett and Ridgeway our Federally Qualified Health Centers dental services at the Community Dental Clinic, and to promoting health, reducing health risk factors and increasing access to medical and dental services, primarily for the uninsured and underserved in the Martinsville-Henry County area. In 2021, the Board of Directors and Leadership staff recognized that the addition of new services and clinics had helped the Martinsville Henry County Coalition for Health and Wellness grow and develop into a more dynamic and innovative organization, and that the branding and names of yesteryear no longer fit the organization.
