Cooperativa Animazione Valdocco

Cooperativa Animazione Valdocco is a social cooperative and a non profit organization; the cooperative works with both public and private bodies and local authorities which are in charge of health and social welfare in the Piedmont Region territory; leads more than 250 working units that run services targeted to people in distress and to local community groups (which involves minors and families, disabled people, elderly, drug addicts, homeless, psychiatric patients). Cooperative works all over Piedmont Region for 38 years by now and about a thousand cooperators are employed among professional educators, health and social workers and other professional carers. Main activities: promoting, designing, implementing and managing health and social support projects as well as educational support projects aiming at preventing and/or reducing risks and effects of exclusion and social disadvantage.
