The history of Copesco & Sefrisa and our close relationship with gourmet seafood began in 1853, when the companys founder: Mr. Jose Daurella, became Spains first importer of large amounts of cod from Iceland, Greenland, Norway and Faroe Islands for its selling throughout the country. Since then, we have strengthened direct links with our suppliers, which has allowed us to ensure a stable supply, the best selected quality and has helped us to adapt the raw material to the characteristics of our production process. In the 60s, our domination over the sources of supply and our strong position in the market, pushed us to diversify our product range with a new activity: Smoked products.
