Coral Guardian

Coral Guardian is an international non-profit organisation dedicated to coral ecosystems conservation, awareness programmes and science. We work in partnership with local communities to restore local biodiversity and to encourage the sustainable management of marine ecosystems. We currently operate in Indonesia, where we established a locally managed marine protected area in 2015, as well as in Spain, since 2020. These areas are successfully co-managed with local communities. Our goal is to expand our participatory marine conservation model worldwide.
