The Corinthia Group is the public listed subsidiary of CPHCL Company Ltd, (CPHCL), a privately held Maltese company, incorporated by Alfred Pisani and his family in 1966. In 1974 LFICO, (sovereign wealth fund) acquired a stakeholding in partnership with the Pisanis which enabled CPHCL to invest in more hotels and other assets and activities in Malta and abroad.
