Cosmetix is a South African registered company which manufactures, imports, exports and distributes various cosmetic products. The company supplies some of South Africas largest retail chain stores and beauty salons. Cosmetix was founded in 2003, after it successfully launched Caribbean Tan in South Africa. Caribbean Tan was the first brand to introduce professional or salon based spray on tanning to the South African market. It successfully marketed the concept, which has today become commonplace and is considered to be the most recognised and leading brand in the manufacture of self-tan products. Cosmetix prides itself on its ability to successfully represent and market both local and international cosmetic brands.
