Country Club of Winter Haven

In 1923, the founding members, seeking a place of natural beauty, and a congenial way of life, had no way of knowing that their new association was to eventually become Central Floridas most prestigious and historic private country club. Today, we reap the benefits of gentlemen, who back then, made a decision and commitment to form what was then Lake Region Country Club. But it wasnt until 1964 that the Club resembled anything close to a modern country club as we know one today. In 2013 the Club sold to a small group of equity Members and is now known as The Country Club of Winter Haven. History though, will not be forgotten. The first trip down the long, tree lined drive leading to the Club solidifies the fact that this is someplace special; where memories have been made over the years during dances and weddings, tournaments and parties, sun drenched days by the pool, holes-in-one, and tennis rallies.
