Country Coordinating Mechanism Nigeria

Overview The Country Coordinating Mechanism Nigeria (CCM/N) is a national multi-sectoral body established in 2002 to coordinate and oversee the Global Funded activities to Fight HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria Program in Nigeria Mandate To submit viable and appropriate proposals to the Global Fund, and to oversee and support the implementation of projects that are initiated by the CCM/N and financed by the Global Fund. Purpose To make contributions that enhance the Global Funded-programs performance, while providing the link between Global Fund operations, CCM/N member constituencies, and Nigerian stakeholders. The CCM Nigeria will utilize existing structures of the Public Sector, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), Private Sector, as well as Bilateral and Multilateral Agencies, in the field of AIDS, TB and Malaria in order to promote efficient service delivery, prevent duplication and strengthen coordination mechanisms between the different stakeholders.
