Crescent Cove

Crescent Cove is a nonprofit organization providing care and support to children and young adults with a shortened life expectancy, and their families who love them. We opened Minnesotas first and only residential respite and hospice home dedicated specifically to kids in 2018. Thousands of children in the state of Minnesota live with a life-threatening condition, all of whom their families which could benefit from short respite breaks. In addition, approximately 700 children pass away each year in Minnesota, and they too could benefit from a space for sacred, end-of-life care. The Crescent Cove Respite & Hospice Home for Kids bridges the gap between a home and hospital for many families. It gives the primary guardian a break from the demands of continuous daily cares, a chance to relax (and in many cases, to sleep through the night) and an opportunity to reconnect on a pure emotional level with their child or other children.
