Crime Stoppers Queensland Limited

Crime Stoppers is a partnership between the registered charity Crime Stoppers Queensland Limited (CSQL), the Queensland Police Service, media and the public. Crime Stoppers provides and promotes anonymous contact mediums for the general public to report information that helps make a difference in stopping, solving and preventing crime. The information collected forms intelligence submissions passed to the police. Supporting Queenslanders by creating safe and liveable communities continues to be Crime Stoppers Queenslands primary reason for operating. The program provides an avenue for the public as a whole to assist police to solve crimes and make our state a safer place. Queensland is unique to most other Australian States and Territories in that the program is supported by local Volunteer Area Committees, and Queenslands continued success is due to the commitment of 600+ volunteers.
