Croatian Youth Network

The Croatian Youth Network (CYN) is an alliance of over 70 youth non-governmental organizations that acts as the national youth council of Croatia and it exists to promote and advocate interests and positions of young people following the principles of tolerance and understanding, while respecting young peoples rights and needs. Since its inception in 2002, CYN has had its focus on creating, advocating and watch-dogging the implementation of youth policies, be it on a national or local level. In the last several years CYN has implemented numerous projects, conducted a large amount of activities and advocated for the improvement of the quality of life for young people in Croatia. With advocacy being one of the main domains of work, CYN initiated to the Government of the republic of Croatia the process of proposing and adopting the Youth Advisory Boards Act.
