CROss Alliance is the brand name for CROSS Research SA, a private Swiss Contract Research Organization (CRO) active in the field of clinical drug development. The group was founded in 1996 with an high specialisation in Phase I studies and early drug development; today the group staff accounts for 38 units and manages clinical trials from Phase I to Phase II-III in Swiss and EU clinical sites. With a portfolio of more than 500 clinical studies performed both in healthy volunteers and patients, CROss Alliance team has built on the field a deep knowledge of several clinical areas, among them: Anaesthesiology, Bioavailability studies, Cardiac safety, Central Nervous System, Dermatology, Gastroenterology and Pain. While the HQ is located in Mendrisio, CROSS Research SA has its Phase I Unit in Arzo (Canton Ticino), in a 825sqm facility equipped with 26 beds.
