CRRC India Private Limited is the first local facility of CRRC in India for rolling stock. Scope of business includes manufacture, Maintenance, Sale, Technical Support and other services of Railway vehicles and components. In response to the call of Make in India, the factory will support its localization proposal of awarded Bangalore 216 Metro Cars Project, namely over 75% local manufacture and over 50% local content. CRRC is also endeavor to increase the localization level to 90% local manufacture in future projects. Furthermore, by playing a role as world factory of CRRC, the factory will undertake export order to West Asia and Africa in future.
