Welcome to the official LinkedIn page of California State University Long Beachs (CSULB) CubeSat Program- named SharkSat! We are a dedicated team of aspiring engineers, industry partners, and faculty advisors who are committed to the advancement of space technology and research. Our current primary goal is to design, manufacture, test, launch, operate, and sustain a CubeSat that detects light pollution. This endeavor aligns perfectly with our goal of contributing to the advancement of engineering technology and its related research. We take pride in our first ever venture- which is our participation in NASAs 2023 CubeSat Launch Initiative (CSLI) competition in which we were selected for a NASA-sponsored rideshare for our CubeSat. We also aim to collaborate with local high school students in order to encourage participation and engagement within the STEM field.
