Matt Binkley has been in the culinary industry since the young age of 15. He is a chef, teacher, consultant and cookbook author. His knowledge and understanding of the industry is that of someone who has spent many years working each angle of it. He has a rare skill set that comes through a degree in Nutrition and Nutraceutical Sciences, in addition to his Red Seal Chef papers. On top of that he has apprenticed under some of North Americas best chefs, including Jean Georges Vongerichten, Chef Michael Stadtlander and Mark McEwan. As a private chef, Matt has spent 16 years cooking for the rich and famous on their estates, on private yachts and private islands all over North America, the Bahamas and the Middle East. Matt has completed his seventh Arctic Safari on expeditions in remote locations throughout Nunavut, Canada, where he has cooked for the Prince of Monaco as well as other members of the worlds elite.
