Custom Covers was established in 1984 as a cover maker to the marine trade. The company has since diversified into the events industry and other complementary areas where it currently derives the majority of its revenue. The Companys primary goal is to be recognised as the supplier of choice in the covers, marquees and decorative linings market. The firm is a medium sized organisation currently employing 75 people from its base in Southampton. The staff are drawn from the local cover, sail making and upholstery industries with a high technical skill level and the ability to bespoke equipment to customers requirements. Custom Covers received recognition for its commitment to quality when the ISO 9001 2008 certificate was awarded to the company following a recommendation from Lloyds Register Quality Assurance.
