With the modernization of transportation systems around the world, nations are challenged with the growing complexity of keeping their citizens and infrastructure safe. In recent years, vehicles of all types, whether it be cars, buses, trains, or road infrastructure have undergone a significant technological revolution, becoming more connected and autonomic to improve user experience, efficiency and performance. However, these new technologies are exposed to malicious cyber-attacks. Hence, cybersecurity risks need to be evaluated and resilience needs to be tested. Manufacturers, suppliers, system integrators, vehicle fleet operators, government authorities, and other stakeholders in the transportation domain must make sure that their products and systems are cyber-safe for usage.
